Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that maximize productivity, quality, and safety while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can motivate and manage teams, drive continuous improvement, achieve business objectives and our Five Guiding Principles.

The Manufacturing Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that maximize productivity, quality, and safety while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can motivate and manage teams, drive continuous improvement, achieve business objectives and our Five Guiding Principles.
- Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day plant operations to meet production goals
- Manage staff performance, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members
- Ensure production meets quality control standards, deadlines, and cost objectives
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor equipment and ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Enforce health and safety protocols and promote a culture of safety
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation effectively
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance departments
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Proven ability to manage plant operations, budgets, and personnel
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
